ASV RC 30 Loader
Problem with hydraulic system on ASV RC 30. Started April 19, 2008, makes a noise after the oil warms up, also had a problem with the bucket drifting downward, this problem started the first day I got it, sent you a fax about it. I haven’t noticed any bucket drifting , but now I have noisy hydraulics when I raise the bucket, please advise!

What grade of oil did you use? Thanks!
I wondered about that, because it only happens when the oil is hot, what grade did you use?

I have an older model, it did the same thing so i used a heavier hydrualic oil in it and no it’s stopped.
No I haven’t, the dealer told me to bring it back when I have some down time and before the warranty runs out, is yours still under warranty? I believe it has something to do with the hydraulic oil, maybe it need to be heavier.

My ASV RC 30 has had way more than it’s share of problems. 2 blown hoses, 3 electrical probs, slop in all places due to no hardened steel bushings in any wear spots-(cylinder ends), a battery at 600 hrs, fuel shut off solenoid went out, etc etc
My Case 1840- 10 years, 1 battery, one pump seal in 2000 hrs.

mine is doing the same thing in okla. asv just gives me the excuses until my warr. runs out . i had idler wheels fall off, o rings bust ,fuses bust , now my engine is leaking oil at the rear main . I bought it new 18 months ago and it has 400 hrs mine is a lemon . I saved up a year before I bought it and this is what I get. I have been in business 25 yrs and they tell me I don’t know how to run equip. I am in disc. on replacement.
No I’ve checked,any other Ideas?
Maybe your low on oil?
I had a noise from my RC 30 for about a year. Then one day the control’s started locking up. I thought it might be the seat sensor so I replaced it. When I was taking the seat out I dropped a washer so I had to take out the bottom brush plate. The two bolts that hold the hydrolic pump had sheared off and the bracket on the top of the pump had broke. The pump was hitting the pan and making the rattling sound. I have had to take the seat, fuel tank, hydro tank and hydro pump out. Now have to put it all back together to see if the problem is fixed. My advice to anyone who owns a RC 30 take the brush pans off and inspect you hydro pump regularly. Of course ASV is gone now and it is terex so there is no warranty.
